If the collectors are installed higher than 6m, the installation of a ventilator is recommended.

The ventilator will ensure that the collectors are idling when setting the circulation pump. In this way there can be no vacuum through the water column. In warm regions (southern Europe) you can also install a vent so as to avoid the water in the collectors and swimming pool inlet becoming too hot.
